Cultural Training in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental
One of our first objectives on the field was to participate in a six-week,
cultural training seminar. This seminar was developed by Missionary Jeff
Roenspie, of Calvary Chapel Training Center, in conjunction with Missionary
Doyle Moore, our veteran missionary here in the Philippines.
We spent several hours each day discussing cultural issues in class. This was our cultural guru, Bro. Jeff Roenspie. We experienced all different aspects of the culture. This is a typical vehicle used for public transportation. Depending on your location it is called a tricycle, pedicab, or tricycad. We could never have done it without child care!
