Missionary Involved in AccidentGod's Protection Clearly Manifested05/09/2003 -- While traveling home from the Regional Youth Camp in Bulan, Sorsogon, on April 25, missionary to the Philippines, Wade Allen, was involved in an accident with a passenger jeepney carrying approximately 25 people. Bro. Allen's vehicle was hit broadside by the other vehicle while proceeding through an intersection. There were eleven injuries reported, including two fatalities. At this time, the negotiations with the families of the victims are not yet complete. While not being held criminally liable for the accident, Bro. Allen is responsible to provide for 50% of the victims expenses and settlements with the families of the deceased. Amazingly, Bro. Allen sustained no injury from the accident, other than bruising and soreness. Please pray for the parties involved for a quick and uncontested settlement, as well as, for the Allen family as they are dealing with the emotional stress stemming from the accident.
